SoftSoap U Made Me Mad!

I just went to the Softsoap site to print the body wash coupon, but came across the hand soap coupon and printed that first. (I just purchased the hand soap last week at CVS, on sale with a coupon, but need another one for the kitchen.) When I printed the body soap coupon, I got a printout saying I'd reached my 'household limit'. What? Huh? Since when do I have a household limit at Softsoap/Colgate?  Is this the beginning of a trend? They wasted my ink and my paper. Not only do I have to deal with the jealous clerks and watch-dog store managers when using coupons, now I have to make sure I print only the one coupon for the item I want most on a web site?

I do not advocate coupon abuse or fraud and am always very careful that I'm purchasing the exact item with a valid coupon. A lot of work and time goes into saving money, and I'm tired of being treated like I'm doing something wrong because I've learned how to use coupons and Shop Wisely. I wrote to Softsoap, and whether they'll care or I receive a reply, it doesn't matter. I've always got Proctor-n-Gamble and Dove. Unilever mails me Dove coupons every month, and P-n-G issues coupons in abundance in addition to their GREAT Rebates. I just got a $10.00 check from Olay for their Quench promotion and am expecting another $15 Body Treatment Rebate as well as a $20 rebate for their Pro-X promo. (See more current P&G Promos here and here.) These companies have realized that consumer discounts equals brand loyalty. I guess I didn't need Softsoap's piddly .75 cent coupon after all.

Dear Softsoap, Harumph! I came here to print softsoap coupons and had I known I would have to choose between products (hand soap vs. body soap) I would have printed the body soap first, because that's the one I wanted. I just bought your hand soap last week at cvs when it was on sale, and I got the coupon for that from the newspaper, not your website. It seems your website will only allow me to print ONE coupon, not one for each product and when I try to print another coupon, what I get is a big ole' rectangle of wasted paper and ink and a message saying I've exceeded my household limit. So what's my household limit, and why can't you put that on your site where I can see it before I print a coupon? When is my household 'limit' reset and when will I be able to print another coupon? Never? I visit websites to get coupons, and when they are available, it keeps me coming back and continuing to purchase the product. Instead I feel like a coupon thief Ha-Ha, we wasted your ink and your paper because you tried to print more than one coupon. It's bad enough that cashiers and the people in line behind you act like you're wasting their time holding up the line using coupons, but now I have a household limit of ONE coupon amongst your numerous products on your web site?
