Stacy's Simply Naked

Free sample of Stacy's Simply Naked Pita Chips from All You Magazine. While you're there, you might want to sign up for the free trial issue of the magazine (if you decide after the first one you don't want it, make sure you mark the calendar to cancel it). However, from the buzz I've heard on the net, I think once you get your free issue, you'll be hooked. I just ordered 20 issues through a school fundraiser and I can't wait for my first issue to arrive. I've been to many sites where they're raving about the awesome coupons in All You Magazine.

Contadina Products

I love the sweetness of Contadina tomatoes in own spaghetti sauce. It's even better when I get to use coupons (.75 off 3 cans). I was just at Contadina's web site and am going to go back for recipes I can combine with my coupon because the food that pops up looks soooo delish!

CVS Covergirl deal. Pay $10.50 get $10 ECB

Here's a CVS deal that can't be beat. $10 extra bucks when you buy Covergirl Simply Ageless Foundation & Simply Ageless Blush. Use BOGO coupon from November P&G insert - 'buy one foundation, get free face product', and the '$2.50 off 2 products coupon' from the same publication. Out-of-pocket will be $10.50 before tax, plus CVS will then give you another ten dollars 'extra care bucks' (ECB) to spend on your next order.

If you choose to spend your ECBs right away, think about the Glade air fresheners when you spend $12 get $4.00 extra bucks back. But wait! You won't have to spend $12. You might have some coupons (there have been plenty around, and you can try this but I don't know if it will work 4 you - I printed it weeks ago). If not, search 'coupons' on CVS.com; they have $3 off Lasting Impressions & $3 off Sense & Spray. You're now at $6.00. Buy 1 Duracell Battery Pack for $2.99 (2 or 4, and you know you're gonna need them for Christmas!), use .75 c. coupon from 11/1 P&G get $1.00 ECB back. Treat yourself to what will amount to a free Dove chocolate bar ($2.00) or any other small item you want, and you're at the $10 ECB's you have in your hand. Pay with that, and leave with another $5.00 ECBs to use next week. Just make sure you go before the expiration dates . They have great customer appreciation at their stores, and they know the more they give us in fair prices, coupon ability and rewards, the more we will return. (Well, at least I will....)

Target Black Friday Reminders

Target is mailing 'reminders' of their Black Friday sale. Maybe they're giving previews too. You have to sign up. I did!

Let Someone Else Plan Your Grocery Shopping for a Month.

I might try this once life settles down after the holidays. The Grocery Game plans the best deals for you and tells you the best time to buy (grocery & pharmacy I think) based on sales and coupons. It's a pay site, but I read (wish I could remember where, I'm sure I've got it bookmarked) it's a money saver and the membership fee more than covers your savings. They even have a 4 week free trial. Maybe now is the best time to try it. Why not let someone plan your shopping for you, (for free!) at one of the busiest times in your life? I think I might just look into this a little further.

Black Friday Preview

It looks like the people over at Black Friday 2009 have gotten the scoop on the hottest sales in the hottest stores on the hottest shopping day of the year. I haven't read through the whole list yet and I'm excited to see what all the stores have to offer. If you register (free) you can print and keep a shopping/wish list of your favorites at all your favorite stores.

I love my pharmacy sales and Rite Aid can be a money maker if you match it up with your coupons (for example, I've got $1/off 1 Scope Mouthwash, and it's on sale for .99 with a $3.00 SCR -single check rebate- which Rite Aid mails to you). I'm getting it for free, plus making three bucks! DVD players will be on sale for $19.99 with a $10 SCR. Plus, there's a $5 off $25 coupon at Rite Aid (give it a moment to load) you can use. Walgreens has low prices on some high end products - GE 12.1 Mega Pixel Camera for $69.99, and a Venturer 10-inch LCD Digital TV for $99.00. But I'd check web reviews on those products if you intend to purchase them.

Did this Black Friday pre-sale notice just pop up this year, or has it always been here? How lucky I feel to be able to plan in advance. It's like all my turkey wishbone wishes came true. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to finding and posting the sales for what I hope to be a hassle and stress free day, unlike my many manic Black Fridays of years past.

It wasn't Santa Claus, but I recently heard a fat man say: "I got kicked out of eighth grade 26 times for fighting. Don't call ME fat!"
